Tackle Trade Show: ICAST in Vegas

Every year, the fishing equipment industry puts on quite an event at their ICAST trade show. This year it was in Las Vegas and it was pretty well attended. The purpose of the show is for tackle shops to see what's out there and for manufacturers to parade their new inventions. There was some pretty cool stuff. Pure Fishing had a huge presence this year and many new products. I liked the line of hand tools called Berkley Tec. They are beautifully designed and nice to the touch. Good price point too. I was also impressed with a Canadian company's product to control electric trolling motors. Their controller prevents the trolling motor from cavitating and chasing the fish away. You can learn more about that at www.re-actionsystem.com. I am not affiliated with them. They are just cool people. What we did learn at ICAST is that their is virtually no competition for our professional grade line winding equipment. Sure there are a few non-powered contraptions but nothing for the serious fisherman and nothing that can handle life in a tackle shop like our Cyclone series. Take a look at the depth of range and experience at www.trianglesport.com.

By the way, we spent an hour chatting with Mr. Fisherman, Bill Dance. You know what he told me? The one thing he hates to do is strip and spool line. So much so, he does not do it as often as he should and he has lost fish because of it. He's anxious to try one of our Cyclone Pros.
